New Mexico:Bingaman (D-NM), NayUdall (D-NM), Yea Come on you guys up North, do not vote for Jeff next election. Jeff has always been against gun rights and now he shows that he is against self-defense rights also. Udall surprisingly voted with us this time so, the jury is still out on his agenda. If he's pro 2nd, then there is some hope for him. |

Dems like Harry Reid who are scared shitless about next November voted "yes". Jeff Bingaman could crap on the Constitution, raise taxes to 90%, and committ murder on the town plaza......and would still get re-elected. it boggles the mind. ![]() We need some options to come out fast, otherwise I am going to do a write in, I am so sick of these arrogant, misinformed, dumbasses I could just puke on the steps of the Capitol bldg. Anyone know of any up and comers on the horizon? God there has got to be someone who wants to do the right thing!

Letter to Tom Udall
Dear Senator Udall,
Thank You for your vote in favor of reciprocity, I heartly commend you for your stand against your peers in defense of the Second Ammendment. I must ask in all honesty though exactly where you stand on gun control issues, are you indeed pro gun? Can we count on your support in the future to protect this fundamental right of all citizens to self protection? Shooting sports provide a great deal of income for the state economy, and conservation here in N.M. It is also a great way to teach kids some facets of personal responsibility they may not otherwise gain exposure to. The Second Amendment guarantees that all citizens have the right to keep and bear arms with no caveats for licensure or model/style specificity. If your vote indicates that you are in agreement with this then I applaud you Sir for your wise Constitutional thinking. Sincerely Al Massaro |

Quoted: You! In the immortal words of Pat Paulsen (old time comedian on TV) "If nominated I will not run, if elected I will not serve", way too many skeletons in my closet dude! I hear ya there. Besides our ugly mugs would keep us out alone. All we need is one or two people who could do it to step up. Somewhere out there someone could make it happen. |

Some facts about the Amendment author
From his website In 1996, with a shoestring budget and the support of family and friends, John won his first term as South Dakota’s lone member of the United States House of Representatives. John was reelected to a second term by the largest margin in South Dakota history. He returned again to Washington in 2001 to serve his third term in the House.
Thune then honored his 1996 campaign pledge to serve only three terms in the House of Representatives. After a narrow loss in a Senate race in 2002, Thune won his Senate seat in 2004, when he made history by defeating a sitting Senate party leader for the first time in 52 years. Thune serves on the Agriculture, Nutrition & Forestry Committee, the Armed Services Committee, the Commerce, Science & Transportation Committee, and the Small Business Committee. John and his wife Kimberley live in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and have two daughters, Brittany and Larissa. Brittany is a college junior and Larissa is a college freshman. In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his family, pheasant hunting, and playing basketball. Senator John Thune He explains it to Congress! |
