I know the DARC shoot is this weekend but for anyone not going, this Sat and Sun is OFASTS (Oklahoma Full auto and Trade Show), just west of Neosho Missouri. Lots of opportunity to rent just about every Full Auto firearm available, pistol cal, rifle cal, belt fed, minigun and this year they will have a 37mm Swedish Bofor, a US 57mm anti tank gun and a 105 howitzer for rent.

"Cannon shell smashes into couple's bedroom in Wyandotte" " WYANDOTTE — A wayward 105mm shell shot from a howitzer cannon at a weekend shooting event traveled more than a mile and ricocheted off a tree before blasting through Gene and Jeanne Kelley’s residence, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office. The piece of ordnance, a dummy shell, left a 15-inch hole in the wall of their master bedroom. The Kelley’s residence is almost two miles from the Oklahoma Full Auto Shoot and Trade Show, which was held in Wyandotte over the weekend. The military cannon was listed on the show’s website as a new attraction. Telephone calls to the event organizer were not returned. The two-day gathering is billed as a family event and includes a sniper shoot, armored personnel carrier rides, helicopter rides and “kill the car,” in which people pay to shoot automatic weapons at a vehicle filled with explosives. The mortar hit the residence about 9:30 p.m. Saturday. A 105mm Howitzer cannon is about 13 feet long and weighs about 2,500 pounds. The artillery from the 105mm howitzer cannon measured 14 inches long and was 3½ inches in width, he said. He said sheriff’s deputies told him that the projectile bounced off the ground and into the air, hitting a tree and knocking off a tree limb before traveling into the house, smashing a wall, then hitting the ceiling three times and landing on another wall in their master bedroom. “My wife normally goes to bed around 9:30,” Kelley said. “We just happened to be up late watching TV.” Kelley said the man who owned the weapon said he would take care of any damages to the Kelley residence.
