Was working the gun counter all day today. Mid morning I took a call from a police department. I thought he said NLR but could have said LR PD. Anyway they got a call from the Feds saying someone was attempting to purchase a firearm from our store. That person was denied so no issue there. I handed the phone over to the guy who actually was working with the said customer during the transaction. I never got a chance to follow up the call but the Feds also called wondering if the lady was still in the store.
We usually get plenty of calls from the Feds at the store looking for address info from the 4473's from Denied transactions but this one was pretty quick. They must have ran out of donuts and had nothing to do today. lol kidding about the donuts. Good on them going after the bad guys. |
