I wish I had picked up a side charging upper back before the panic I wanted something a little different. I have to say that is a sweet shooting gun. It was my first build and I have yet to put a stock on it, Im still decideing on what exactly it is I want. If you get the chance, pick one up. If you dont like it, I will buy it off of you. |

I was thinking of getting a 223 suppressor but my dealer didn't speak to highly of suppressed 223 said they were still too loud and suggested a .30 cal suppressor then I ended up with a .45 TiRant So is my dealer wrong? How quiet is it? |

How quiet is it? With a rifle suppressor and supersonic ammo, you're still going to get the very loud sonic boom. Nothing will every change that, at least with our current understanding of physics. But most modern 223 cans are going to remove almost all of the actual explosion of the powder, leaving you with a very loud CHINK as the action works and the bullet goes down range, along with the sonic boom. Think air gun, heavy duty stapler, something like that. |
