Question on residency. I unofficially moved to AR from MO in early Nov. due to a unrelated situation, I still have a MO drivers license. As of next week, I'll have an AR license, but lose my MO CCW permit, when I get the AR Drivers Lic. For an AR CCW, I have to be an Arkansas resident for a minimum of 90 days, before I can apply. What determines the "residency"? Am I looking at waiting 90 more days before I can apply, or just a few more weeks to get to my 90 days (from nov)? I know I'll be without one while I'm waiting for it to come back, but am I looking at 90 more days, before I can even start the 120 day wait?
Scott I think if you have utility bills going back to the date in question might be sufficient, but I can't garantee that. Call the ASP, and find out for sure at (501) 618-8600 you might find the info you need here http://www.asp.arkansas.gov/divisions/rs/rs_chl.html
Since Missouri has recipocity with Arkansas, you should be able to transfer your MO permit. See http://www.asp.arkansas.gov/divisions/rs/pdf/chcl_transfer%20instrucitons_042012.pdf
