Not to take away from your post Shooter, but I am in the market for a pocket flashlight that has at least 3 settings including the strobe function.  It would be interesting to see what everyone is carrying and hearing the comparison.

I have a mag lite that fits that description. It's led and i leave it in my truck toolbox. It gets beat to hell, gets chemicals dumped on it and exposed to nature's full temp range. I bought it as a back up to my 6P, and I've been impressed with it.

I never could find what I was looking for but I did end up finding one I like so far. I went with a 4sevens QT2L
So far Im pretty impressed. Slim, light and bright!

So after some time playing with this light Im starting to get a pattern with it I do not like.

The programing does not seem to want to stay on strobe.  Some times its just for a sec it will come on high then switch to strobe. Other times it will only work on high. Turn it off then back on a few times back to strobe. The last few days though I have to go back into program mode and switch it to strobe.

Anyone else running a 4sevens and had program problems?

I have a 5 year old Fenix, no model and a PD32.  Both are tanks, super bright and super reliable.
