I thought some of you may be interested in this idea.

Seems like it may be pretty fun if the weather was just right.

"Props to Kendall Edkins and his pals, who spent a 4 man, 3 day trip on the Connecticut River, that forms the border of New Hampshire and Vermont, on their self-made raft complete with fire pit and ENO hammocks for paddling and sleeping!"

i watched a show a couple years ago about a group of friends that built a raft and went down the yukon river. would be a heck of a trip

i am trying to talk the wife into the whole mississippi river in canoes. some good videos on youtube of guys doing it. would be a fun trip i think. two canoes and 4 kids. 2-3 months
