We had a thread awhile back about hometown guys that write trust. I can't find the trust, and not sure I want to go about it on my own. Any help would be appreciated.

Unless I'm just a total retard, I have never seen any info on that site that pertains to Arkansas. I did call them once and was basically told to send them money and they would hook me up with a laywer here.  I know of a guy in Jonesborough that has set up several, and seems very knowledgeable but he starts at $300.00

The McHughes Law Firm located in Little Rock is the primary agent of the GunTrustLawyer.com/Att. David Goldman of the Apple Law Firm. Everything goes through guntrustlawyer. The local law firm provides the witness, notary, etc. You need an attorney barred in Arkansas to execute the trust. Again the Mchughes Law Firm being the primary agent.

The fee to guntrustlawyer is $600. That fee is split between the two law firms.

If you find someone cheaper, such is the laws of capitalism.

Because of the Uniform Trust Code.

I have heard that Trav Baxter at Mitchell Williams has set the market rate for gun trusts.  You can call and ask.

ETA: and the price I heard was far less than $600.

Thanks guys. I know this horse has been beaten. Im about a month away from sending off for a couple of stamps. Really I dont even want to mess with the trust, but it will be a valuable tool if  something ever happened to me. So I guess I will see what I can fond out.
