Sorry I can't help you but good luck. A few years back I needed a new bead sight put on my Mossberg. I called a guy in Rogers and in a long drawl he told me "well I charge 75 an hour and it shouldn't take more than an hour". Needless to say I ordered one from Cabellas and it took me 10 minutes to do myself.
I have heard some good stuff about a guy named ernest lastivica "SP?" who is somewhere around the lowel/highfill area. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

However, that was eight years ago. He was pretty old already, and I have no idea if he's still doing gunsmithing. I was referred by the sporting goods manager at Walmart in Rogers. I don't know how to get a hold of him, but he may be listed in the phone book. Steve Sturm in Springdale advertises minor gunsmithing work on his site, so you might give him a call too. |

If you were in Central Arkansas I could put those sights on for you in exchange for a case of beer. Of course, I would drink the case first so I could not guarantee that you would like the work that I do or that it would be done in anything like a reasonable amount of time. Then again, I could not guarantee those things even if I didn't drink the beer at all. |
