I know how quarantines work in the traditional sense, but how are they running the one in Greenwood?
I mean, it isn't like skunks pay attention to yellow police tape. ETA: GREENWOOD, Ark. –– The mayor of Greenwood said his community is being quarantined after six cases of rabies in skunks were confirmed there.
Mayor Dale Gabbard said Wednesday that his office has notified schools, veterinary offices and the media about the quarantine. Gabbard said a notice of the quarantine also has been placed on the marquee in the town square. http://www.4029tv.com/news/27382569/detail.html |

I live in Greenwood also, but I'm not worried as I walk around with my SBR and a 1911 while I'm in the yard. Living in a residential neighborhood, the neighbors frown upon this activity....or maybe they're frowning because of the speedo and the clown wig.
