You'll spend 1k+ for a new optic, how much well you spend on a good steak?

Most I've spent on a steak?

$35 at the butcher for a 16oz filet.

$70 at a restaurant for a 10oz filet

I prefer a nice dry aged steak!

*for the record, most ever paid for a optics was $450

Big difference there kiddo.  Steak is a one time occurrence whereas a scope is supposed to last you for many, many uses.  I've been eating steak all my life.  While it might be "ok" to splurge occasionally for a top quality steak prepared at a fine steak house I prefer a generous sirloin grilled myself.  Less than $8.00 a pound.

Why I just grilled some venison last night!

The female and I ate at Arthur's. Their wagyu was 55, kobe was "market price" that night, about 110. Her strip was 37..

Just picked up 3K+ worth of glass...

But I dont usually buy steak out. Like far right said, 20 bucks and do it myself.

Or even better, 100 bucks for a primal. Dry age it myself then cook it. 10-20 per steak depending on which primal and how thick you cut them.

Usually $20-$35. Nice thick, lean, NY Strip. Then like most, grill or smoke it myself

I had a Kobe steak at a place called Sam's Anchor Inn or something similar. It was on Okinawa back in 1989. It is by far the best tasting steak that I have ever had. I paid $50 for it and a couple of beers.

Pffft....

We're selling C.A.B. porterhouse family packs for 6.19/lb right now.

So I'm thinking 16oz. for $12.

I never pay the full price I always wait for the sales.

i cant see spending to much on a steak. every now and then we will get some new yorks from sams club. we dont eat out much. i always like the cooking at home better and the prices just to get some food cooked for u are to much in my book. if we go out to dinner i always think how much food we could have gotten for the price we just paided for some one else to cook for us.

If you are ever on the Central Coast of Kommufornia, head down to Nipomo, and check out Jocko's steak house. One has simply not lived until they have tasted those commie steaks!
