you sucked.
that is all
ETA: I don't mean to be negative, but it really was that bad. We had a really good looking female lacerate her hand on the firing line with a sub compact glock. The only thing they went over prior to the range was sight picture. |

There are many that are that bad. It's a damn wonder ANYONE honors our licenses... I took one in OR, which was taught to the lowest common denominator and while I don't necessarily consider myself that...I learned some things. I brought 2 coworkers to this class and was embarrassed that I did. Supplex |

Who was the instructor. When I did my class with Bill Beaty I can say it was a top notch class. Had a lawyer, and a LEO come in and talk. I learned some stuff. I've sat through a couple of others and they were a joke. The best one was taught in a cow pasture with everyone sitting on there tailgates and the instructor talking for 35 minutes. She then drank coffee while everyone shot. She said go shoot a couple o clips then brin me your target and I'll sign off. |

My state of residency its $25, a quick background check, oh and a 2-5 minute wait and your ccl is yours, Its honored by most states too! I contemplated getting a AR license but it only lets me carry in 3 more states or so. |

I've heard similar stories from my AR friends that went through the class. If my mother-in-law can pass it it's not that difficult.
Here in MS, we don't have a class. It's just a $125 for fingerprints and a background check. I did take an all day class on self-defense handgun with the Memphis ARFCOM crew and that was well worth the $100. We discussed getting together again for the Force On Force class where we get to shoot each other with less than lethal ammo. |

You need to call ASP and talk to Lt. Gentry. These sub-par instructors are going to ruin it for all the rest. If you are ever North Central, let me know, I'll make up for it... Free o charge... :) will do, tomorrow to be exact...thanks for the offer, I'll take you up on it! ETA: actually, I'll wait till I get the CHL in the mail

| I went to a CCW class at an outdoor store in Tonitown. It was alright. Good discussion on different scenario's and how we should act when we get pulled over by a Police Officer. They also warned us very strongly against getting one of those retarded CCW badges. The indoor range was pretty good, and they were very adament about safety. I don't remember the instructors name though. Overall it was a decent course. |
