Hey guys. I'm new to the whole IDPA thing and was hoping to take in some shooting Saturday. I am a little confused on what is going on though: classifier, carbine, and match OR just the classifier? AND what exactly will the classifier be? Is it something I should go through soon? Thanks for the help and info. See you guys there.

See you guys there. steve The classifier is a 90 round course of fire that determines your skill level in the division you are shooting in. You have to be an IDPA member to shoot the classifier and have your classification card. You can shoot club level matches without being classified but it's required to shoot a sanctioned match. You can download the IDPA rulebook from the IDPA website, it has the classifier stages and the score levels for each division and class. P.S. I think We can let you shoot the classifier if you are in the process of joining IDPA and hold your score until you get your classification card. |

You'll also be happy to know none of them involve getting close to sharp metal objects that might scrape the skin off yer scalp!

Faster...stronger...but not prettier? Man, 2 out of three. That's too bad, I would have signed up for your UniSol program if I could just have hair like JKVD.
I won't make Saturday either. I am trying to make the Knesek, but it is still looking like a day in the shop assembling a pair of bikes due out before the end of the month. I know, I know, there's that whole last minute thing.... |

Maybe SOMEbody needs to work overtime to make it happen. |
