What happened to the Little Rock boys and Appleseed at DARC this weekend? I thought a bunch of you fellers were going to be there.
My son and I went only on Sunday, shot Rifleman again on the first go around of the day with a bolt action. My son is knocking on the door...he'll make it next time. He has shot Rifleman scores at home multiple times. |

I was there, and got my rifleman's patch as well. I had a great time. meet some great people, and learned some good history. It was quite warm and I might even got a little sunburn, but I would do it all over again. I do hope we can get some more organized soon. I tried and failed to do that, the mag changes on my bolt gun were just too slow and awkward due to the tiny mag well (CZ-452). What rifle were you running? I am thinking an Enfield or a K-31 with strippers would be the way to go next time... |
