They are really light and handy but the trade off is the recoil and accuracy.
I like having it around as box/drawer gun but it's not fun to shoot.

belly gun. No need for accuracy. Jam in belly, pull bang switch five times.

It would be for ccw, carrying a 1911 is getting old, if we could open carry it wouldn't be bad to have

I have one with the Crimson Trace grips and I love it for carry. My niece at 15 is a very skilled shooter, her weapon of choice for pistol is a Taurus M82 in 38. She can consistently rapid fire 4in groups at 10yrds with it. The last few times we've gone shooting, she has spent some time with the LCR and just can't seem to find her groove with it, I think the light weight may be messing with her timing, and it really hurts her hand after about 50 rounds or so. Moral of the story, its a good CCW gun, but the weight seems to really affect its performance. All in all, I'd probably recommend one, but spend some time adjusting to it before you use it for carry. Also, I'd avoid the .357, the .38 recoil is bad enough, I can't imagine the extra kick of the magnum round.
