What night you want to learn a little something about reloading? No, not from me!
But I will take you to the man that taught me and many others. My grandfather has been on this earth for 74 years, and has been reloading for over 50 of them. My gear is his gear he gave to me a few years ago, but I learn something new everytime we reload together so I set it all back up in his shop. Anyway, let me know what time you want to get together. He would be more than happy learn you the basics and answer any questions. |

If I can ever get my one spare bedroom cleared out I'm gonna make that my reloading room. Like we discussed the other day I used to reload straight wall(pistol) ammo many years ago. Rifle ammo is a little different. I've only reloaded 30-06 once and even that was many years ago. But I got it accurate enough.
One thing I can say is basic reloading is fairly easy. However it can get quite complex when you really dig deeper. Small vs large primers. Different powers may work differently with each caliber/bullet. Do you want to load for accuracy? How accurate?? You can really nit pick a load for the absolute accuracy possible for a specific gun/ammo combo. But that's a lot of work. For real fine tuning one probably needs a Chrono. We need a central meeting area to reload and drink beer. |

Oh and I was gonna add, here is a great post in 68Forums about reloading. Although this is more specific to the 6.8 in general this is a good guide to get one started. This alone will give a new reloader some things to think about.
