Wondering when/if we're gonna see any movement on any concealed carry or gun specific laws?
 Carry in Churchs
 Open Carry
 Stand Your Ground laws

I had chatted with Randy Stewart earlier in the year and was expecting the church carry to be brought up again.  Seems some on here keep up with this stuff and can let us know here how things are going.

This year is fiscal session only. It takes 2/3rd vote just to talk about anything other than budget matters. Only rep told me last night they hope to be done in a week so we probably won't see anything till next year.

Our local gun show had some guys there with a petition for open carry, so I have been wondering how that will play out.

We really need to get organized on a stand your ground law, I feel this should be our # 1 priority.

Tell me a good way to keep up with the progress of our lawmakers, please.  The state.gov website isn't updated regularly and when/if you find people voting on important issues and you email them, some of them never bother to email back at all.

Since this session is almost up, will they have another session this year?  Or is this it for 2010?

They get a yearly salary. This is actually the first time we have had a session in an even numbered year.

They make i *think* 13k a year and then get a per diem for everyday they are in session, or have official business.
