It's so quiet in here I thought I'd chime in.

I was finally able to go shoot my new build on Wed.  I had purchased a complete Spike's upper many months ago but never even put it on one of the other lowers I got to shoot it.  Fast forward to more recent times and I finally ordered a stripped lower from Spikes and slowly got the parts together and assembled the lower.  I put about 200 rounds through the gun on Wed at the Mayflower range.  I initially pumped several different brass round through it just to see how it shot.  I also sighted in the Aimpoint that I moved from one of the other guns.  When done with brass I finally pumped another 120 or so round steel cased 223 rounds.  Not one single malfunction.  Cool!

The upper is 1:7 twist in the M4 profile.    Used a mil speck buffer tube with "H" buffer and a Magpul ACS stock.

I decided to pop for another red dot site from Academy.  I got a Bushnell Trophy series 1 x 32 Tactical.  It was less than $150.00.  I know this is not really considered a good red dot.  I installed it on the gun I pulled the Aimpoint from and sighted it in.  I gotta say this site looks pretty good.  I like the sight picture this one uses.  I'll try to include pics.

BTW this is not the new build.  This is a S&W M&P.

Here's what it looks like.  Not quite in focus.  Sorry!  It has a green setting too.  The Bushnell website says it's a 3 MOA dot.  That's good but it looks smaller.

Also shot my muzzeloader for the first time and got it sighted in.

Today I went back out to Mayflower and shot my new Browning Buck Mark 22 pistol. I got the stainless model.  It shoots sweet.  I was surprised that I had no feed malfunctions with it today.

funny you should post...

opened up my email a little bit ago and said "I'll be damned!"  Bushy finally shipped me a two-stage trigger.

You know I read a post from someone else on the sight who recently got a Bushmaster 2 stage trigger and he was saying how good it felt and so much better than previous models.  I looked on their site but didn't see anything about a new(er) 2 stage trigger so was wondering.
