Apparently I have been living under a faqin rock lately. 
Tonights the first night I have ever heard the name Colt Ford. If you aint heard of him yet, give him a listen. Its sone pretty good stuff IMO. I don't really care for much of any country music (except for some J.Cash)....If you've never checked out any 90's alternative country...all I gotta say if these guys were more popular , today's country music would suck as much. But they can flat out rock ....check out Son Volt, and Wilco,too, the bands that formed after the split of Uncle Tupelo. I'd recommend the Uncle Tupleo cds "No Depression" and "Still Feel Gone".
