[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Spikes 22 upper feedback (Page 1 of 2)
Posted: 8/27/2009 5:30:28 PM EDT
| Been doing alot of checking to the spikes 22 uppers. From what I have found they have a pretty good reputation using the right ammo (Federal). I am used to the Federal ammo. I have a Ruger 10 22 Valquartsen carbon fiber barrel,Val. trigger job,Hogue stock. It is also very particular to what I run thru it so that will be no problem.I purchased one of Spikes lowers and I am wanting to build a dedicated 22 for squirrel hunting and punching holes in paper and anything else I fell the need for. I do alot of squirrel hunting with dogs (West Siberian Laikas,Curs, and Fiest)and I think one of these would make a dam good squirrel rifle. Do any of you guys have one and what is your opinion on the ST 22 uppers? |
I got one
FYI you can get one for $550 if you call and mention ARFcom Group Buy. Ask for Garret, Tell him Josh Logan sent ya |

Ask for Garret, Tell him Josh Logan sent ya I am wanting the one with 16" barrel,YHM light weight specter length rail with the SD-1 fake can. It will probably be a little more than the $550.Got a few things to sell at the fun show this weekend to be able to fund another project. Then I will get a little more serious about purchasing!

Wink all you want, you're risking your account, AND getting them thrown off the board if site staff decides you're a shill account. I'm not the kind of person to report it, but many people are. I've personally had 5 members of this forum ask me if you worked for them, and I'm not the mod here. I can only imagine what kind of attention you're drawing to yourself and spikes to people that are in charge. If you're such big buddies with them, go ahead and have them add you to their rep list so you're all safe. As it stands now, a lot of people are convinced you're a shill account, and that's enough to get you, and spikes' industry account permanetly banned. |

He is just a good customer that is trying to support our company. No different than some of the guys with a Larue or Adco avatar speaking good of them. I don't see what the problem would be.
ETA: Why would he be risking his account and why would we risk loosing our account? |

Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile Thats not the case at all. If he worked for us I would have him added as an Industry partner, we already pay for more than one user name. We have alot of Loyal customers and we sure as hell don't pay them! |

I just wanted some feedback on Spikes uppers not to cause problems! I am sure we are all adults here so we need to act like it! This sounds more like the conservatives against the libs.We all enjoy the same sports and passions! So lets play nice and enjoy!

Pretty good over all rep. Spikes makes good stuff. You shouldn't have any issues. [/quote] From what I have been able to find they are GTG using the right ammo. I have been looking at these for a while. It would be cheaper to go with the Colt 22 or one of the others but I want the real McCoy!

I've got 3 of their uppers, 3 drop-in kits and the MRP kit. The dedicated uppers are what I would recommend. I've have only shot blackdog mags in them to date & haven't had any mag issues. The dedicated upper is what I want. What all types of mags will they take on the 22lr uppers? |

That 22 looks good, I might just need to get one. |
