Well, cowboy asked me to share some pictures from the LaRue 3 gun match in Waco Texas that Shooters101 and I attended.

Here are some videos with a few stills on youtube:

High points:
50 rounds from a Dillon Aero is less than half a second of sustained fire. pretty much the high point of everyone's match.
Breaching a door with a battering ram is cool, but breaching one with 2 rounds from a shotgun is cooler.

What blast. Only bad thing was on the day where our squad was on the 2 stages with the 200 - 600 yard targets, there was a 20-30 mph crosswind. Next day was a nice calm 0 -5 mph wind. When Shooters101 and I put steel at 200 yds for the Benton Carbine Match, we were cussed. I can only imagine what will happen when we have 500 yard targets at the next match!

but it was a friendly cussing, training is good. 500 should be doable with a quality weapon and solid application of basic skills. Im all for it. Fucker

Dude,

200 yards + 1/3 scale targets is harder than full size targets at 500.

Looks like fun...if you are going to set out some 500 yard steel at the next match, I'm going to have to another optic, the Mk1 Eyeball won't do it for me, especially if you hide the damn targets in the weeds!

The 8.5" vector didn't do too  well at 200 yards last time.  I will shoot an ar i think next time.  Of course you are more than welcome to shoot the Krink or V53 if you want.
