Anybody find anything they couldn’t live without? Did anybody see the MAK-90 with the 3ed hole? A dealer in the back room kind of in the middle of the room had a MAK-90 with a composite stock on it. It had the cutouts for an under folder with the plats riveted over them. It also had the third hole with a rivet thought it. I didn’t say anything to the guy about it. He said he was an FFL dealer and he tried to talk a lot of shit to convince me he knows all about Chicom rifles but WTF. If he knows all about Chicom rifles then why dose me not know that he is trying to sell an illegal contraband rifle. O well I hope nobody unknowingly ended up with this one. I have herd about people seeing them for sale but this is the first one I have held in my own hands. I carefully set the weapon back down and went on my way. I hope everybody found what they were looking for. If you did then it’s time to let everybody in the home town forum know about it… |
I don’t reload but there seemed to be a couple of dealers with bullets, brass, powder and primers. You know me I was there looking for AK stuff and there were a few nice poly tech rifles but I couldn’t see spending $750 for one of them. So anyway they are there waiting for one of ya’ll to get them…lol |
Thanks! Guess I will head there tomorrow. |
You can't at any I've ever been to, plus this is at the state fairgrounds so I guess they treat it just like any other state building. I think this ranks up there with the incident a few years back when the state showed up and started to charge to park without notifying the promoter, there was a huge stink over that one, they were making announcements over the PA about who to complain to monday. Needless to say, they don't charge to park now, they just have a security guy at the gate passing out free parking passes...

I've only been to 1 good in the past 3ish years...Its always the same people with the same stuff (usually with the same jacked up pricing) |
I heard the comment today that someone said that it looked like a Hot Springs Allen Bowles show, if you've ever been to one, you know what that means... I also heard that someone came in with a 30 carbine that he had purchased at an estate sale, and sold it to a dealer. It was checked over and was confiscated and will be turned over to BATFE monday, seems it had a fun switch without paperwork.

Yep the gun shows are very entertaining, lol, I mean dont get me wrong,We know if we are looking for that hard to find parts we most likely will find them at the gun show which is good,BUT there is always the few dummies trying to get rich over pricing weapons too. I sure didnt know that olympic AR-15s go for 850.00??? lmao, I really get a kick out of some of the sellers,And I know after you guys are finished looking for what you went there for you ask some of them guys prices for kicks,I cant help it,its just funny as hell to me!!! |
| I went, bought some ammo and one part I needed. Other than that I did not see anything at a price that seemed like a bargain. Sure makes me think that I should up my insurance on my guns. Everything I have they were asking almost twice what I paid for mine. Sure would cost a lot to replace them at those prices. |
| JJ the next time you go then I need to follow you around. I saw a lot of stuff much higher than I ever seen them for sale here on the EQ exchange. I have found lots of bargains here on this web site, but none at the show. I did see good prices on parts and stuff but I must not have looked at the right places. Frank |
