New guy here.... I am Mike and I am still quite new to doing much with personal weapons. I'm in North Little Rock and the Arkansas Army National Guard. I should be picking up 2 new Berretta M9's this week and have plans to build my own AR. Being quite new to working with weapons I will have quite a few questions and will use the search to find what I can before asking. One plus thing I do have on my side is that my wife, Jamie, was a small arms repairer for the Army when we were on active duty. Rogers here.  BTW.........Do you Northwest Arkansas guys know about the Rogers Gun Club? I'm a member so I'll do some recruiting here.  We have a 200 yard outdoor range with covered benches. It's only $36 per year! That's $3 per month which is cheaper than gas to drive that curvy Hwy 12 out to Hobbs. It's pretty conveniently located in the northeast part of Rogers in the general vicinity of the Rogers Airport (not near flight path). Members have year-round free access to the range ANYTIME during daylight hours. All Club members are required to be NRA members so the Club can be sanctioned for events, etc. Anyone intersted in seeing the range should drop me an email. I'd be happy to take you as a guest for a quick tour or a shoot if time permits. If you like what you see then I'll hook you up with the club officers so you can join. Let me know!  BBURN |

We just closed on a house in Vilonia; I'll be leaving NJ, and their wonderful laws, at the end of the month. I look forward to meeting you all at some point and getting together to shoot. I will be working at LRAFB starting in August; this will be my second tour at "The Rock". It will be nice to be back down south, as I am from TN and my wife is from TX. Talk to y'all later! B_S |

| Is the truck stop still open over there? They used to make a hell of a breakfast, or at least it tasted good at 3am after the bars in Branson closed. We are over in Berryville now, I think her aunt was the last relative she had over there and she died last year. |

Don't know of a truck stop, must have closed before we got here. There's a Dari Diner. Is that it? At least it has a pizza joint, a tex-mex joint, and a post office...lol. We do our shopping in Harrison or Branson. Bought my AR in Berryville from Gunman of Arkansas.

I think Louis and Clark ate at the Dairy Diner on their way through... lol I know where The Gunman is, I havent been to see his shop yet though, I used to talk to him on the phone a lot when we were with Aimpoint, he seems like a good guy. I wonder if he has that 1000 yard range ready yet. |
