I want to hear about what all will be on the ballot in November, and what your opinions are, and more specifically what I can vote for to actually improve our state!

I would say that other then the 3 Rob mentioned, the most important races are the local ones.  Make sure to at least do a little legwork and try to elect some common-sense(conservative in my book) people on the local level.  School Board, Mayor, city council/county board, NRD, State Senators, etc.

Spend a few hours googling the names of those on the ballot, check out their website(if they have one) or even call them and ask for their positions on subjects that matter to you. Encouraging your friends to do the same is equally important.

Electing those who are not at the local level is the best way to keep the out of the works at the state and national levels.

The NFOA - Political Action Fund conducted a candidate survey which is a good source of info on those running for the Unicameral.
