Hello All,
I am wanting to purchase an acog and don't know which one to get.  there are so many models/reticles and I don't have any experience shooting any of them.  The challenge is that when you go into the local shops they typically don't stock them to hold/feel/try ect.  Anyone know of any locals that do a good job with acogs?  Anyone have one they would like to chime in on?  The scope will be on an M4 carbine set up that I hope to use for some 100 yd paper punching and maybe try an ipsc rifle event like 3 gun someday.  All opinions welcome......

Thanks

You might find some useful information over in the optics section. Click Here Do a search in that section for ACOG.  You should get a ton of hits.

Good Luck.

Where are you located?  You're more than welcome to try my TA-31F sometime if you are close to the KC area.

i got a TA31F.  its a 4x32 red chevron.  i kinda wanted a TA31H-G which is a 4x32 green horseshoe.  but either way i love it.  from what i understand the 3x are longer than the 4x, but the 4x have a short eye relief (1.5 inches).

FYI - when i got mine it was shooting about 12" high (@ 100 yards), even though the website and manual said they are zeroed before leaving the factory.
