On Friday Nov. 6th, my mom was taken forcefully from her home. A scene was found 1/2 mile from her house where more evidence was found. We are wanting as many people as possible to know about this in hopes of getting any more clues in finding her, so we are asking everyone to help us spread the word. Here is a link to the story and pictures of the evidence.

http://www.wibw.com/home/headlines/70002692.html?storySection=story Topeka (WIBW) - Authorities have new clues in the search for a missing woman. 58-year old Patricia Kimmi disappeared from her home near Horton, in rural Atchison County, November 6th. Authorities suspect foul play. They released new photos Friday of two items found near the scene. They are a camouflaged ball cap that is embroidered with "Saylor Insurance, Inc., Sabetha" and a 1922 silver dollar money clip. They also identified a possible vehicle of interest. It's a late 90s to early 2000s model, large, dark- or red-colored dual-wheeled pickup, maybe a Dodge. Authorities want to talk to the owner of the items. Anyone with information on the items or who knows anything else about Patricia Kimmi's whereabouts may call the Topeka Crime Stoppers number, 785-234-007, or the Atchison County Sheriff's Office, 913-367-4323. Topeka Police and Kansas Highway Patrol are among agencies involved as part of the Capitol Area Major Case Squad, which is assisting with the case. GOOD LORD! I just heard about this last night. Ksred, I'll do what I can to publicize this, as well as be praying for you and your family. God be with you and your family, Bro.
Everyone else - I personally know the OP. He's a stand-up guy. He and his family need all the prayer and support they can get. |
|
Thanks to everyone for the thoughts and prayers.
I cannot even describe what our families are going through right now. There was no reason for this to happen, she had no enemies. I am having a hard time beleiving this was completely random when absolutely nothing in her house was touched. |

We are offering a $50,000.00 reward for the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the disappearance of Mom.
I have also added a link on my website to download the flyer that we are putting up everywhere we can. Anyone who would like to put some up in their area can go to http://www.kimmis-cww.com/ and scroll down to the "click here for Mom's flyer", and download it to print out. I would really appreciate it. The more we can get out, the better our chances of finding her. Thank you. I recieved a call from the sherriff's office this morning that an anonymous person has added another $40,000.00 to the reward money. |

Will keep an eye out...I will let customers know as well if they are not already informed! Hope you find her soon! Flyer is posted in the store!

Thank you for tacking this thread.
The last 2 days have been a roller coaster. Yesterday, we found out one of the biggest leads fell apart. Today, we found out the Texas EquuSearch Team is coming to help us out. We are running a flyer drive this weekend and next, to post flyers as far as we can. If anyone in the Kansas City, Topeka, or Manhattan areas would be willing to download the flyer off my website posted earlier, and post them in the area, I would really appreciate it. We are also trying to get flyers into the southeastern part of Neb. if anyone there would be willing to post a few in their area. Thank you all. |

We had a meeting with law enforcement last week, and they have some leads that we feel pretty good about.
KBI has been involved from the start, and has sent 2, new to the case, agents to help the sherriff's dept. The FBI is also helping with a few leads that have come up. I feel they all are doing a good job with the case, but some things just take a lot longer than we want them to. Due to the state's budget shortfalls, the lab work is not going through nearly fast enough for us, and all the red tape involved with getting any records slows things down, also. I'm sure all of you in law enforcement know what I'm talking about. Hopefully in another week or two, if the leads they have pan out, we will have the answers to who did this and why. If the leads fall through, we will be back to square one. I don't even want to think about that. This is definitely a nightmare that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. It is a struggle just to go about your day and get anything done with this on your mind all the time. |

KSRed, sorry to hear about your situation, this is the first I had heard of your mother being missing. Prayers sent, unfortunately that's all I have to offer.
From an article I just read it sounds like there are charges being filed against someone. http://www.kctv5.com/news/23013820/detail.html |

It's basically a waiting game now. The guy is in jail on a 1.5 million dollar bond for an attempted murder charge against his wife. She was supposedly questioning him on his involvement with Mom's case and he decided they should end it all by going head on with a semi.
All paperwork from Mom's case has been turned over to the County Attorney and he is reviewing it. We are anxiously hoping for an arrest(s) in the next week or two. |

The wheels of justice turn slowly, but God grant that they turn surely and that you and your family recieve justice and that the guilty are punished to the fullest extent of the law. While no amount of punishment of the wicked can ever make up for the hell they've put you all through, resolution and closure are a down-payment. Stay strong, Bro; there's a lot of friends praying for you and your family. |
