My computer crashed and I had to reload everything. Consequently all my information, calender of events, and any other stored info I had, is gone. So, with that in mind, does anyone have the details on the Vickers course? When, where, tools, parts, tuition, etc. I am looking at this or the Cylinder and Slide course this year. Rick, Happy to help you out! I'm the one sponsoring the Vickers 1911 Course here in the Omaha area. The dates are Oct. 13th through 18th. Either course would be good ones to attend. the C&S course is just about 45 minutes away from my house and I had contemplated attending for many years. However, when the opportunity came up to host Larry here, I could not pass that up. Tuition is $2375 plus the parts and tools you must supply. Larry's former unit is the number one consumer of .45 ammo in the world. They shoot in excess of 1 million rounds of .45 ammo a year. As such, Larry has had the opportunity to see more rounds down range than most. One last thing to note. Larry is unsure when this course will run again. It could very well be 2010 before it does. The course in Omaha is absolutely the last pistolsmith course he will run this year, and from the sounds of it, through 2009 as well. Here is an example of what you will end up with.
