It's sad, but don't be surprised.
Cops probably get it really bad, but food tampering happens every where. I'd be willing to bet the average fast food diner consumes atleast eight ounces of spit each year. If you offend the person behind the counter in any way, chances are you'll be sucking down their spit. I try to limit my fast food intake as much as possible. After finding a chewed up weed (yes, marijuana) stem in my Mountain Dew, I've made sure to take a quick glance at all of my food before I eat it.

What's the word on the street? I would think they could pick out at least one dirt bag that works there thats got a beef with you guys. Wife and I always drive past that Applebees to theChilis down the street. Stay safe!

when i go out to eat i'd just assume NOT know. Ignorance is bliss in this area, until you get put in the hospital like those officers. Surely, their deparment is not going to rollover on this one.

except for the whole "potentially attempted murder" part about the deputies, yeah sure. whatever. get a freakin clue. spitting in someone's food in a movie for comic effect and putting methamphetamine because you don't like the police? GTFO. |

I'd be willing to bet that if you looked at the number of convicted felons by job title you would see a higher number in food svc then you see in other "normal" occupations.
This is just based on my contact with bad guys everynight and no scientific data. SWAG |

I, like many of you I'm sure, did a stint working the fast-food biz during high school. I can honestly say that not once did I feel the desire to spit in or in any other way befoul anybody's food.
