@Viper Sweet jesus dude. |
| Anderson might not happen this year. Anderson is complaining the last shoot cost them $3000. I think that's horseshit, they bring in money from the event, we clean up, we donate. They say the costs are from portapotty rental, disposing of the blown up vehicles, etc. Whatever. |

This is the President of the AMGA......
AK_Mike- your suspicions are incorrect, The Annual "AMGA Ted Smith Memorial Weekend Shoot" WILL and IS happening...... The issues were due to a New Riverside Park Director that was not fully informed. I have been in discions with the Folks at Andersen, AK. They do indeed want us back! THis year the Makers if "Targets USA" Steel targets here in Alaska are providing the Steel Target Array for the Competition shoot and Jungle Walk. We';; also have the "Club Steel" that belongs to the AMGA, and other targets along with LOTS of "Binary" Bada-Boom that we'll mix onsite. Also if anyone plans to attend bring some tannerite or similar to add to the reactive target array ----------------------- |

Folks,
We’ll have a great Target array, as “Targets US” from the Anch/Matsu area, has volunteered to bring out and set up a great Steel Target Array for the Competition stateges, Jungle walk, and open shoot! They manufacture, IN STATE, an awesome array of steel shooting target systems in AR500 and AR 450 steel! If you plan on attending let me know, with approximate number of how many will be in your party and how many days you plan to attend! If you plan to camp, I need to know how many spaces you need, how many days you need them, and whether or not you need electric hook up for your RV. RSVP to: "[email protected]" Spots with electric are $15 per day, and “Rustic” spots with no electric are $12 per day. Due to the great warm weather we’ve been having, the park should be ice and snow free well ahead of memorial weekend! Dates for the shoot: Thursday, 21 & Friday 22 May, 2015: Camp arrival and set up, Riverside Park, Anderson, AK Saturday, 23 May, 2015: Competition & Jungle Walk shoot stages. 11 AM- 6 PM Sunday, 24 May, 2015: Open Shoot! & Jungle Walk 11 AM-5 PM Range sweep and clean up: 5:15- 6:00 PM AMGA Annual “Pot Luck BBQ”- 6:30-?? Monday, 25 May, 2015: (TBD) NRA firearms training class? & Wrap up |
