I can't believe it, but ARES had a booth there. They manufacture the Shrike belt fed upper. Took people's money and then took over 10 years to pump out the product. Jeff wan't there though, I suspect if he had been, he would have been punched in the face more than once. He had his nice employee Tracey there. My Shrike is waiting for me to pay for the rest of it. Longer I wait, the nicer their gear gets though. ETA: Oops, this was to be posted on my SHOT show thread... |

I wasn't even sure I could contact them anymore. A month went by waiting for me to call, and out of the blue they called me. Now I have my packet, accessory catalog, etc. Been 8 months and I've been both to lazy and too broke to pay the rest off.  ETA: I stopped by the ARES booth to be assured that my my shrike won't be gone cause I waited so long to get it, which means I'll be lazy and take a lot longer to pay it off and getting it. The parts are better now anyways. MGI lied last year, their belt fed is not yet in production. I HATE seeing cool shit at the shot show knowing the product may not be available for a loooong time yet. |
