At the AMGA Zombie shoot some guys had 3/8" thick plate for targets ..Anyone of any places to get that stuff precut like silhouette shaped

Alaska Steel up here in Fairbanks will cut it in any shape for you. I think they have one down in Anchorage too.

Yeah those white ones were nice. I wouldn't mind picking some of those up.

I used a 10 or 12" C channel as a base and a a 1" square tube as the post. The base and the back of the target had slots to hold everything up. If I can find photos  I'll post them.  

A friend did all the welding for me. Broke down to three pieces for transport.

There was a group buy last spring for AR400 steel that steelfab torched for us.  THat may have been what you saw.  The AR400 holds up pretty well, but it's not AR500.



We can probably get Dave B's contact number from Dave A.  He is also on the 4x4 board.  He orchestrated the last buy.

I figure whatever was there held up to 7.62x39 and .223 just fine , thats the biggest i would shoot .

anyone remember how big that was ? trying to get my own built ,..Now to just find a stand as well
