I figure we haven't had a full open range day in forever, so here goes.

Wednesday and Sundays usually work for me. My spikes rifle will be complete as soon as my lower and optic get here. (still deciding and getting funds on optic. Hopefully group buy aimpoint or the like)

What works for you guys?

Im on strict "no shooting" orders (among many) until mid October

Im happy to stop by as time permits and bullshit though

AKMike is back for a month.  He literally is there everyday unless he is doing a doctors appointment or something

Wow, well I hope you get healed up fast. Can't even shoot .22?  I'd be going insane.

I figure it would be nice to at least meet most of the local guys before I move this winter.  I am going to miss ak though. Been home for 24 years.

Ever since the Anderson Memorial shoot, many of my guns are filled with fine dust kicked up by a .50BMG rifle that was next to me.  The guns stopped working.  I figure I would clean one a day.  I should have one or two cleaned and operational by Sunday.  Following Wednesday I'll be up early for a preop blood pressure check before I get my wisdom teeth yanked, then I see there is going to be a bake sale at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.  I'm going to see what I can buy and scarf down.  I figure if it gives me a heart attack, I'm already at the right place to go.  Nothing else on my schedule those days (besides shooting of course).  Following Sunday all I got lined up is possibly going to the fair.  I like getting a Happy Meal just before hitting the range.  Just enough to hold me over and each meal comes with a free target.  I am still up for lunch and dinner gathering, however.

BTW:  The trick to the shooting gallery at the fair is to just shoot a circle around the entire red star and knock it out of there whole.  I do it in small bursts. Don't try to follow the outline or get rid of the star by shooting the red out directly.  The tiniest bit of red left and you lose.

That game would be so much better with an AM180.

Especially for $1-2
