Hawaiian bretheren, looking for some suggestions on transfers. Currently looking to get a Nodak A1 lower and need to find a place that doesn't charge more than half the cost of the lower for the transfer. Thanks much.

Don't get me wrong.........AL is a GREAT GUY............
But............ FFL dealers can also be found by checking with GunBroker. Just put your zip code in and it'll give you a list of dealers who are willing to do transfers............ http://www.gunbroker.com/FFL/DealerNetwork.aspx Aloha, Mark |
| I've used both Al and OGC, and both are great, and both can be a challenge to find the first time around. If you are in town, OGC is probably more convienient...the downside being there are lots of cool toys there and you will definitely end up spending more than $40 there. :) |

I miss Ohio at times. |
| Al is a little cheaper, but he doesn't have set hours and for me it's further away. I have used Al for my Larue and I had no problems, great guy, great service. I haven't used Carter (OGC) but I know the next gun I have shipped will be to him since it's so much closer and his shop is great. Either way you can't go wrong with Al or Carter. |

I heard this is the guy to go to for FFL transfers: Al Mongeon, dba; Ready on the Right, FFL 9-99-01523, Hawaii's only NRA Business Alliance firearms dealer, #X1065, Licensed Premises Address; 301 Kailua Road, Kailua, HI, 96734 - 2902 808-261-6588 The cheapest on island, unless you signed up with OGC prior to their grand opening then you can save a buck or so. Al is one of the last at-home FFLs in the state, I do my best to keep him going. |
