I found some Magpul MBUS sights at Riflegear.com. If you need to get some comparatively cheap sights for the class, they are in stock. The MBUS are retail price at riflegear but in stock.

I talked to Magpul direct about ordering some (and to use the now 20% discount) and they would not order any due to a 1600 count backorder.

I can be the guinea pig for testing if anything. These are going on my backup rifle for the class.

I bought a rear MBUS for Mrs. Bananas' carbine. She likes it so far.

I already have MI, Troy and Centurion Arms on my others, so I'll be waiting for an excuse to move on to MBUS on mine.

There are several indusrt partners with them in stock selling for ~ $80 a pair

I guess I was impetuous. I didn't think to look at industry or EE so I googled sites with them. Not many had stock... Oh well.
