Can Hawaii residents purchase a pre-ban AR from another state? I am thinking of selling my pre-ban Colt 6530 for something newer since I am in a free state. I would prefer it go to someone in a ban state but wary about listing it on the EE intil I know where I can legally ship it. Thanks

Yes, Hawaii residents can purchase semi-auto 'pre-ban' or no ban AR's. Most likely the transfer has to go through a dealer (easier for Hawaii guys to register it), which may be an added expense, depending on the dealer.
