I had the fortune of getting together with some fellow ARFCOMers last weekend for breakfast. A nice time to say the least and great company.
I was thinking it would be fun to start a monthly breakfast club. I am typically in Anchorage atleast once a month between August and March so if it could be on a weekend I am in town even better. What I thought would be fun is each month someone else is responsible for picking the eatery. The "Host(es)" would be responsible for picking the eatery, making reservations (if necessary) and making sure everyone knew how to get there. Im not thinking anything fancy, just low key, social time with fellow shooters. What say ye? |

I like the idea of a once a month meeting but I don't think this would work for all of us.
I think we should use this thread for the out of towners to post when they will be in another town, then the locals can reply with I'll be there or wish I could. I'm lucky in that I work a swing shift most days and have the free time to meet up with any that are going to be in Anchorage. I guess what I'm saying is. If you are traveling to another place and want to meet with the locals, then post it here. PS Maybe we can get a "Tack" but we can keep this alive if it's what most want. |

How about something in Fairbanks? I am home on Fridays - Sunday night, and even holidays like a normal person. I don't make it down to Anchorage much. I met the Anchorage crew at Gwennies 3-4 years ago. I would be up for that AKMike is coming back to town for a short bit, maybe that could be the inagural breakfast |
