. Best mass transit that I can think is from ER into ANC. You could park & ride though.

Free room and board. Main reason we are moving up is Mom is not doing well with her knees and she had a replacement 5 years ago. I'm half cuban (Mom's side) so I'm kind-of obligated to help her out. Dad is a pilot for a cargo airline so he's gone half the month. They've got a big house, and the kids love it up there. To boot, there's a new elementary school that's got awesome reviews. My mother (retired teacher) knows half the staff there and has nothing but good to say. Take this, and compare it to where my wife and I could afford to live in ANC and take the school into account (compared to where we could live) and go from there. 4bux per gallon in my little muff car is not really that bad. I would probably drive to T-bird falls (where I used to live) and do the park and ride from there anyway. |
