man i feel the erge to get a new pistola ... This one will be for CCW use again .. I am out of practice etc.... I miss my Sig 239 I use to have .. .loved to carry it , concealed nicely low profile ...not digging or anything but what do you guys carry ?

Hi Sig40Fan

My CCW is a Springfield 1911-A1 Loaded PX9109.
ILS and Mainspring housing replaced.
FLGR replaced with GI guide rod.
Trigger replaced.

I did spend the time and money for a CHP.
I am NICS-Exempt at this time.
Alaska is not giving the NICS-Exempt with the CHP anymore.
The FBI won't OK the NIC's part for Alaska as of 4/2006 or 5/2006.
I was told that the FBI was now too busy to do this part of their job.

I carry a Glock 22 or 23 most of the time and at lease one extra magazine.

I usually carry a Kimber TLE RLII in a fanny pack

I dont care if people realize that I am carrying, perhaps that would make someone think twice about being stupid

When I truly must carry concealed and dont want people to know, I carry a G26/27 in a IWB holster

.40S&W H&K USP Compact. My favorite gun ever and my wife loves it too. Edited to add, usually carry in a Galco shoulder rig W/2 extra mags.

Carried a 1911 of several configurations almost everyday for the past 21 years. Several holsters, oldest & newest Milt Sparks.

I got a 239 that i am not using, For some sick reason I like carrying my 92 (alessi IWB holster) more, even though the 239 is better suited and has night sights.

I am thinking of either a commander or xd45 or the like instead.

I should get my head examined, the 239 is a beautiful gun, I guess it is just under appreciated by me.
