Well

Day one is over with.  Long and short of it...Same shit different show.  I swear in the nearly 15 years I have been helping my dad do this show I have seen some of the same guns as every show.

Where else can you get a Pre Ban AR-15 for $1800.  It was NIB and had an original Colt 22 conversion with it, but still 1800? WTF, You could almost buy 2 new ones for that.

All and all it wasn't a bad day one.

I thought about going Saturday, but I went shooting instead.

Saw a few ARs out at the range on S. Cushman. I was there from 12:00pm - 3:00pm

Chris,

I'm beginning to wonder if they even tear down after the show or just leave everything for next year..guns and all.

Sad the price we pay to live in paradise.

btw, I bought that Beowulf from Bill's shop. Loaded up a bunch of rounds and headed to S. Cush after work today.

Yeah, I know.  There is one old guy who bought several of the less popular caliber large bore rifles (30-378 wby, 378 wby, etc) when Kmart was going out of business several years ago.  He has been at every gun show since with those guns.  Guess what, he has had the same guns for atleast the last sevral shows.

You got the 50, eh.  You should have a blast with it.  I am holding out for a 458 SOCOM.  A little better bullet selection, though it is more expensive, 6 of one, 1/2 dozen of the other.

There was a guy Friday night at the S.C. range who I had seen at the show during the day.  He blasted through 2 boxes of magnum caliber shells while I was sitting there.  Only problem, no sights on gu, no scope on gun, no target in front of gun.  Just puttin lead down range.  Crazy
