I do not kow if anyone one else is interested in these rifles but I have been looking at picking one of each up.

I thought the P90 SBR, would be a great advantage for me at work.  I am not looking for something that fires much beyond 100 yards.  This would be something that packs up nice under my parka and would be used within 40 yards or so.  Doing as much flying that I do now the p90 also is small enough to not distract others.  It would be very fast and easy to get out of vehicles as well as using indoors.

THe F2000 would be nice for some of the same reasons and would give me a greater reach and much cheaper ammo.

Anyone fire many bullpups before?  Whats your thought on these two rifles??

I want them both, but can only afford one this year.  Th e f2000 seems like the one to buy for me unless one of the scar rifles comes out.  I ain't sold on the p90 because of cartridge availability, but seems like just the thing for um...heavy winter clothing penetration for an leo...

According to a local shop who was at the shot show, he said that only 30 rd mags are going to ship with the civie p90's but 50's will be available.  The impact zone in soldotna is taking preorders on both and is just charging 10% over cost (k-beach rd across from the red diamond center).  They want a full deposit up front and expect delivery this fall.  The wholesaler they are going through is RSR and apparently RSR is cataloguing the p90 and f2000.

I agree that the ammo for the P90 will at first cost a little to much to do a lot of shooting but when the price goes down it would be a nice/differant carbine.  The F2000 will be interesting.  I will take either or both of them when I can get my hands on one.

yekimak, I was in your neck of the woods two days ago geting my new/used pick-up and new tires.  Looks like spring is here for most everyone.  My yard still has a lot of snow in it but I did see some grass showing through.

Sig40Fan, I will see if I can find you a photograph of either the P90 or F2000, both have lot of threads on ar15.com

It is difficult to hold back and not buy everything all at once with the sunset of that old firearm law.  This summer I will be picking up my 1918a3 (BAR) but I do not want to buy an old rifle just yet.  There are some nice new rifles coming out and those are the one that I want.

Just an FYI to Fairbanks crew, Pro-Tec has the F2000 in stock and will be getting in some of the P90's and more ammo.  I need someone to get these both so I can sleeze my way into letting me try them out.  Gemtech makes a nice can for the P90 BTW.

Sorry, had my head up somewhere dark.  I meant Pro-Tec had the pistol that shoots the same ammo as the P90 in stock.  I've been gone so long, I wasn't even aware of the F2000.  Got some reading to do.

I do not know that I will sell off anything that I have at this point.  I Cleaned house over the last two years and now have about what I want.  It is just that there are some nice new frearms that are coming our way and it would be a shame not to pick up one or two if them.  I agree that an Aug would be nice but for their price I can get both the P90 and F2000.

Short of a Browning HighWall in 45-70 there is not much out there that I would like without a Tax Stamp on it.  I will always have a new built AR being planned but it is time to just get out and shoot now a days.

Yekimak, I suggest laying in a good supply of the ammo first or confirm a good source.

Ammo will be an issue for several more years, there is no question about that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am hoping that when I pick-up a P90 that I will be able to get enough ammo and them reload some for practice.  I sounds as if NATO will be picking you this round by years end.  Wwe should see some trickle down somewhere there after.  So I keep telling myself.

I ma debating between the two..I can't really decide, neither has any real use up here other than for home defense/small medium game....

And since nothing I ever own is ever going to enjoy any amopunt of collector value.......

I still can't decide, I really need to hold them both, I prefer flatter guns, and the f2000 looks kinda chunky..

Maybe I should wait for the SCAR-H..:)..
