Central Iowa Practical Shooters is having their annual 2 day pistol match this weekend. Prizes on Saturday, regular monthly match on Sunday.
They moved from the winterset range to a new one near Redfield, just North of I-80. Same drive time. Similar rules as IPSC but without all the equipment classes and fun killing bureaucracy of uspsa.

I'll get classified one of these days, I'm sure that adds to the fun. I bought a uspsa membership last year then never did it. I'm probably too scared to see how bad I am.
Good Idea on the websites, the club is trying to get some new blood and or old members to return after the last few years of urban encroachment and course restrictions at the old range. Figured I'd post up this one, even though its a busy weekend. |
