If you are a member of the Colfax Gun Club and are inclined to get some shooting in while this nice weather continues... be careful on the road leading to the entrance gate. About 300 yards from the gate, the road has been washed out by all the runoff water. There is a 1 foot wide by 1 foot deep trench across 90% of the road and it is hard to see due to all the water/mud. One member in a car thought he might have messed up the front end of his vehicle. I was going a little too fast and probably will need to adjust the alignment in my truck.
Be care on the road close to the range. |

Ugh. Hopefully jasper county fixes it because I just put new tires on my car and I can't afford any more repairs! Lol Unfortunetly, that road is dang near level B maintenance... dought it will get a ton of work... Let me know when you go shooting. Looking for the Colfax range(s) on Google Earth. Anyone have the grid coordinate or street address for the range? The club has a website now which shows the location on google maps. It's right on the front page, you should be able to figure out the rest.
