Looks like it is getting pretty bad.  Lots of hail and word about tornadoes.  Hope everyone is safe.

We've had more than an inch of rain since dinner, most of it in the last hour.
Wind and some small hail; small enough you couldn't see it in the grass, only know it as from the sound.
Looks like more coming but we'll have to see.

I talked tonight with my brother, who lives in the Rapid City area.  They got 2 feet of snow today.

Make sure you guys give a general idea of where you're at so people have a better idea if it's coming there way or not...I tend to check here more often than I do on weather radar.

It looks real clear now.  There was lots of warnings about tornadoes by sioux city earlier football games got cut short tonight and everyone went home.  Im further up north west but looks like a bunch of nothing out there now.  I was worried about hail damage mostly.

Small tornado touched down in my folks' yard. Lot of trees down, and it looks like one large wagon is totaled, but, thank God,  no one was hurt.

Kind of on eerie feeling to watch in all happen. I am convinced that God will never interrupt a family gathering, and he is a Hawkeye fan.

We got hammered with tornadoes last night.  Bout 30 miles east of sioux city.  Tornado was pry a mile wide, and was on the ground for 10 to 15 miles.  Pretty well leveled one farm and severely damaged 15 or so more I'd say.  Thankfully no one was hurt.   Was out last night, looking to help ppl out and saw it all, but looking at it in the daylight it's pretty bad.   Millions upon millions in damages.

I live about 60 miles north of Fort Dodge and we had high winds and a lot of rain. The power was knocked out of my town from around 9:30p.m. Fri night to around 2:30 this afternoon.

Glad to hear that everyone is alright...it seems like everything went North/Northwest of the Des Moines metro area.
