I heard a blurb on the radio this morning of Joe Biden saying that no one needs "assault weapons." He went on to say that for home defense, you need to go buy a double barreled shot gun. I think he claimed he had two, with ammo, locked up at home. He's right that a shotgun with 00 WILL stop a lot, I guess.
I stopped at Scheel's in Iowa City this evening and an unscientific survey would seem to show that you can (usually) buy two ARs for the price of one of his. Not that I wouldn't love to own a nice Citori (they were almost THREE times the price), but I'll stick with the AR, thank you. |

So, which is it, you have one politician saying that a women should pee and vomit all over to get rid of an attacker or you have Obama bin Biden saying you should only need a double barrel shotgun and shoot outside to get rid of the attacker or a combination of both?  My Lord, do these people really listen to themselves when they speak. Every time they open their mouths, I feel like I'm a Rhodes Scholar.
