This last Tuesday I took my motorcycle to the range...

I did get some funny looks pulling two pistol case's and ammo out of my saddle bags...

Then I unstrapped the Coleman folding chair bag off the sissy bar and pulled my M-15 out of it...

The whole afternoon was somewhat zen like.. very relaxing and satisfying.

I'm going to have to combine cruises and shooting more often.. maybe road trips to different ranges?

Anyone else loaded out their bike's before?

Although I have never done that, it does sound like a peaceful time. I may have to consider that as well.

I tend to look at bikes pulling up to that range, it is becoming more common place though.

I do dig anyone that will take their bike on gravel, many are too worried about dust.

I like the folding chair bag idea.  I'll have to remember that.  A hard sided gun case hanging off the back of the bike would probably get you even more funny looks.  What range were you at?  That's definitely not Black Hawk Park in the background.

That's the range where that guy went nuts I was talking about. Never can remember the range name. By the American Pickers town near IL/IA border.

Depends on the bike. I wouldn't take my spots bike on gravel for too long.

My VMax doesn't see gravel roads either...with my carry permit now I wouldn't mind going out sometime with a pistol or two to do some shooting.

Be careful, if you go off the road the DNR might try to call one of those things an ATV.

Princeton. It looks like the Princeton range.

Yeah it's Princeton, I really try to avoid it all costs and am a member at Oak Hills in Blue Grass. It was just a better ride to Princeton and no gravel hills like at Oak Hills.

The bag chair bag worked awesome, it even had a should carry strap, might have to start using that more frequently...

I haven't done it but the ride to that range would be nice. Open roads with a few nice turns.

I'm at that range just about every day. Lately there has been a rash of dumb-as* cops from Davenport there. Shooting up all the target boards with shotshells, shooting tracers an having them bounce over the hill into the field next to the range. Then they play the  I am a COP and what are you going to do about it.

The range is almost ready to be CLOSED DOWN permenantly. The DNR is fed up an is ready to close it. SO, if any of you guys that are here that use this range want to keep it, you better step up an stop the retards from destroying it.
