Hey everybody. Just wanting to introduce myself here. I am just barely getting started in the world AR's. I have not even started my rifle yet, still looking around at options. I am a member of IFC and through other members there I found this place. Hope to learn a lot and meet some people. I live in the central part of the state, Ames area.

Be ready for a host of unsolicited questions to be coming your way..favorite pop tarts, facial hair, feelings of bike riders on roads, bicyclists in spandex, etc...etc...etc 
It's a shame you weren't able to attend the Shoot/Build last weekend as many of your questions could've been answered as far as what you want to do with your first AR. There are many members located here in the central Iowa area and a few there in Ames as well. |

Brown Sugar Cinnamon! No question. Why the hell are my taxes paying for bike paths and bike lanes if they don't even use them... Well, to be honest I've never shot either platform, but I'm here to begin learning about assembling an AR so... Minion in training? Not sure what that is to be honest. I think I already talked to a member earlier in this thread, he tried to lure me into his grasp. I will admit to watching Sons of Guns, but it's more to make fun of them than anything else, or and to see what shenanigans they are up to this time. |
