| Rick and Romp ran us through a good class today. Amazing what some good training and expertise will do for your groups. Nice job fellas. |
| Hey, it's Tim aka J-Lo just thought I'd drop in and give Rick and Romp a big thumbs up for the Basic Rifle class. It is pretty cool to see how much one can improve with the guidance of competent instructors. Had a good time while learning the different shooting positions and techniques and being able to see a huge improvement in accuracy. Looking forward to Tactical Rifle 1! |

Your shooting during the 1 thru 5 drill looked good, seemed to be quickly getting back on target, managing the recoil. Keep up the training. Oh, and remember to bring a tarp next time. |

Thanks again for the kind words guys. All in the class did a very good job, excellent safety practices, no equipment issues (other than some minor sling issues) and we learned from them so it turned into a positive. Looking forward to seeing you guys again, and meeting more of you.
And Mirage, looking forward to seeing you in class as well sir. R |

Unfortunately I can't get out of work this weekend, maybe another time. You said that there are more than one? |

Quoted: Was their class better than, the bearded mennonites, the weather guy and Jr., that hot blondThanks again for the kind words guys! Romp and I do this for the love of the art and the enjoyment we get from seeing you succeed. Let me tell you, this was an enjoyable weekend! |
Shouldn't of been to hard to beat our class. My bearded brother and i brought the group average down a few notches
Trying to use the sling properly actually made me shoot worse
But i did feel good when i ran the 1-5 drill
I should retake the class, i would benefit in doing so... and that PR1 class would help... maybe they will take an iou??? |

I've also found physical limitations can have on the various shooting positions as well. I take the styles and lessons in each class and decided what to make routine for myself. I figure I'll go ahead and take the CCA carbine basics course to see what you and others like so much. Also PR1 is a blast. You really learn some solid fundamentals from some very knowledgeable instructors. |

RSA at the 12 oclock kicked back kinda by the receiver, and a haggard sling loop made out of 550 on my stock . Moved the RSA up a bit and it helped, but i was fighting that thing all day.
I'd love to take the PR1 class, i could really use the training, just check the video out in one of the other two threads, and see for yourself... Just dont have the funds. |
