Can anyone tell me anything about Keystone?
Looks like a small town about 30 minutes outside of CR. Mostly concerned about trap/skeet/sporting clays as I anticipate living somewhere that I can shoot rifle/pistol on my property. Gunshops, town, people, etc. Not a sure thing at this point, but if it winds up happening, CCA is going to make me a verry happy, broke man.

Small town west of Cedar Rapids. I know there is a Linn County Izaak Walton League NW of town. Gunshops; Cedar Valley Outfitters in Marion. Gander Mountain in CR. Scheels in Coralville, Fin and Feather in IC, Ammo Bearer In IC. CR gunshow usually pretty good. Gabes Gunshop outside of Williamsburg (he works the show circuit on weekends). DNR range along the resevoir.
Don't know what's west of town. |

Looking forward to receiving some of your wisdom (they tell me it's glorious). I've heard some of the CR gun-shop drama, but never really paid attention. Really all I need is a good source of reloading components and even then I usually end up getting it online. Otherwise my plan is to join IFC and abuse my CCA privlidges

Ha! I'm in the process of looking for a house to buy in Iowa right now. You never did get your ass into Subway in Brookston to meet up! Haha. I think we only crossed paths for about a week or so. I've been back to Brookston several times since (still have buddies there) and to ride in Attica several times. Will be back in Iowa Wed-Sat for my 2nd interview/facility tour. |
