| Ok I admit i'm an idiot but every post I make trying to sell something gets locked. I realize the first one(72 hour rule) But the second one has me flustered. I was selling an overrun on homemade gas checks and it got pulled. Basically the total if all sold would have been a little over 100 bucks. I get the selling for profit speech(who sells at a loss???) You cannot sell as a business..You cannot sell mutiples etcetc....yaddayadda.. I get it... BUT in the same forum another member was selling roughly 20 different calibers of brass. Another was selling items that if sold out could get more. What gives? Is it because I haven't donated any cash yet? I am well aware of the vendor status but damn man I was just trying to thin out a few things from the garage.. I am wondering if some of these moderators were the guys we pushed out of line in the lunch room when they had pizza in school....Great site amd I realize the moderators job is a tough one but a few of these guys have went mall cop.....BTW ban away |
| First you need to show more info like links to the posts if just locked. If locked you can get it unlocked after 72 hrs. I believe. If deleted then you need to explain what you are doing in the posts. If answering other posters you need to modify the original post and not make a new post b/c this will bump you back to the top and may violate the 72 hr. rule. Also you may contact the mod who locked or deleted your post and ask them why. Usually there will be a message at the end of your thread stating why and they may send you email or im to explain why depending on the situation. If you are being locked or deleted you are doing something wrong for sure. It has nothing to do with your member status. |

i guess i'm not really following this correctly, but if you're having trouble and getting ads locked, then send a quick IM to the mod who locked it and ask them politely where you made the mistake? it doesn't have to be more complex than that. i haven't run into a mod yet that couldn't explain why something was locked, whether i liked it or not...
ask them and they'll tell you. coming up with some sort of elaborate conspiracy over 'cash donations' etc. doesn't hold any water. |

OK OP, I'm going to be nice and not lock your account for that little outburst. Consider it a gift for the recent troubles you've had in the EE. Did you contact the Mod that warned you and removed your thread? If not, send an IM to Gatorhunt and explain the situation. If he believes that you're just clearing out the garage, then he'll probably allow you to post the stuff. If not, then you may just have to sell them on another forum. |
