Jacobson in Story City is a year wait, tried to contact Robert Snyder but no reply to my email. Need a barrel threaded and a muzzle brake installed in a timely manner. Any recommendations?

I'm not sure if Septic with CCA does barrel threading but he installed a muzzle break for me and did a great job.

First, it's not chucky and I'm a Tool and Diemaker. I don't know what your problem is with me, but I would appreciate the snide comments to cease.

Second, I don't have access to a lathe. If I had a lathe, I would do it myself.

Try Adco. I've used them in the past with good result, and the turnaround is usually pretty quick. Contact them, they could fill you in better.

I have a Savage 112BVSS in 300 Winchester magnum. Looks like Adco only works on ARs, but I will send them a email and ask. Thanks

I have no idea what this is all about, evidently, now that Fammy is gone, people need a new target to belittle and step on? So what did I ever do to you trout? You mad because I didn't buy your trailer and commo shelter.

Joel, I don't think I ever met you, so what's your problem with me also?

My CharlyArmy account was locked because I made a link to a Gunbroker auction I had and that was almost a year ago.

What's your problem guys?

Single point thread cutting can be done by any machinist. It is not rocket science. Find any local machinist and he will do a fine job for you. I single point threads all the time.

True, any machinist can cut threads, but they may not have the tools to remove the barrel or have the knowledge to know that both ends of the barrel need to be indicated in, to ensure the everything is true to the axis of the bore. I already asked at work, they won't allow me to bring gun related items to work on the lathe on my own time.

I have everything I need to do the job, but a lathe.

I can put you on a lather here in CR. You could be done with the project in less than an hour.

Sometimes it's just best to not say anything if you don't have a dog in the fight or say anything at all if you don't have anything nice/constructive to say...let's keep things civil guys.  I'm here to be a Moderator and not a Babysitter!

At the last build day he had a draco AK he had converted to full auto.  Did you, by chance, discuss how he did this?  Does he have a jig that shows where to drill the holes?

I didn't know he did that, I wasn't at the last build. I don't know if he has a jig for that. you might get ahold of Robert and ask him.
